Salsa

Hi loves,

Sharing my Mom in law’s salsa recipe! She makes an incredible salsa and its definitely better than store bought salsa! Its a simple and easy recipe that give you some delicious salsa to eat with all your Mexican food!  

Blend all the ingredients below together (I did 7 pulses on the vitamin, depends on how chunky you want your salsa) 

  • 2 Roma tomatoes (large) 
  • Diced tomatoes 280oz (Borreli brand – what she uses) 
  • Onions (1/4th cup diced)
  • Jalapeٌo peppers (2 medium) 
  • Sugar (2 tsp)
  • Cumin powder (1/2 tsp) 
  • Black pepper (1/4 tsp) 
  • Cilantro (1/4 cup – chopped/keep steams) 

Add in 3 tsp(s) of vinegar this helps persevere the salsa for longer!

Taste test the salsa!

Add in some red chili powder, salt, sugar  or lime if needed (according to taste) 

This recipe makes 8 cups
