Bohemian Pool Party

Since our wedding was right by the beach it was customary for us to host a pool or beach party! Of course, we were super excited to have a pool party. Especially the elders as it would be a one of a kind experience for them and our guests!

For a lot of our friends and family this was their favourite event as for some this was their first destination wedding thus their first Pool Party or even if they had attended one earlier they really enjoyed!

I felt what really made this event so successful was the attention to the DETAILS! We decided that it was going to be a bohemian pool party so we had dreamcatchers everywhere, games, water guns, an area with artificial rain falling down, an area to get massages, lots of different kinds of food and fun drinks!

I was super nervous about my outfit for this event because I felt like I would definitely be pushed into the pool! Initially, I looked at outfits in Mumbai and found some I loved! But I didn’t feel like they were pool party friendly because of the fabrics! When I was in Dehli for the Vogue show, I visited Shivan and Naresh! I’ve been obsessed with them since forever and once I saw their clothes in person, I was sold on the spot. I got a custom outfit made by paring different separates together and getting it in pink! The trousers were initially in a thick cotton jersey but S&N made them for my in neoprene which made them water friendly! I wasn’t thrown into the pool but I did go dance in the artificial rain at the end!
