Introducing La Rose Diaries

My blog launched in 2014 but the journey actually began in 2012 when I started studying Economics in college. I found myself constantly sketching dresses in the back of all my notebooks. Fast forward 6 months later and I’m enrolling myself into Fashion Design without a clue about the subject. Shortly thereafter, I decided I wanted to launch my own blog!

I’ll be honest, when I first started blogging, I didn’t do any research and didn’t even know how ‘blogging’ as a business worked. It was only for my love of fashion, and it started off with my desire to share my style and thoughts with the world. There wasn’t any thinking involved, and I didn’t spend time thinking about followers or promotions. It was just out of passion and the excitement to create something!

Despite starting with so much passion and excitement, I wasn’t able to keep up with blogging because of my personal life, college, and traveling. I would still try to post as much as I could, but suddenly it came to a point where I wasn’t doing any blog posts and barely posting on social media! So much has happened in the past two years that I wasn’t able to blog successfully, I moved to Hong Kong for nine months, and at the start of this year I met my now fiancé and soon to be future husband! Between all of that, I have constantly been living between America, India and Thailand. Spending time with (both) my families, attending obligated events and planning the wedding has taken up all my time!

I started blogging to fill up a void for my love of photography, style, food, and wanderlust. All the time that I wasn’t blogging, especially the past year, I felt like something was missing, I wasn’t doing anything that made me happy! It was too much with all the chaos going on but now everything is coming together, and I feel like I’m ready for a fresh start!

I launched my first blog under the name La Rose Quotidien, which means ‘The Daily Pink’ in French. I loved the name, and I love roses, the colour pink, and France! So at that point, it felt like the perfect name to call my baby (the blog), but most people I met didn’t know how to pronounce ‘Quotidien’, and they didn’t know what it meant!

I have decided to take all these changes in my life as a new opportunity to start fresh! I’m re-launching the blog under the name of ‘La Rose Diaries’ (Because La Rose has stuck with me, and you guys love it!) This time around though, I want to do everything I can and give it a 100%

I cannot wait to create new content for my blog and social media! Tag along with La Rose Diaries for  amazing journey. Stay tuned for many blog updates and follow me on IG @larosediaries for all my latest updates and follow me live!
